Aramid (NX) Needle Felts

Using the highest quality fiber materials and world-class needling techniques and equipment, HL Filter manufactures a wide range of Aramid (NX) needle felts with high dust-holding capacity and good air permeability. In general Aramid tends to be gradually degraded under hostile flue gas conditions. Consequently filter media made of m-Aramid are frequently processed with an additional protection against acids and hydrolysis.

High termperature needle punched felt

Excellent resistance to abrasion

Good resistance to alkalis under most condition

Most mineral oxides cause degradation and partial decomposition.

Aramid withstands common organic solvents very well. Some phenolic compounds cause solubility.

Continuous operating temperature 400℉ (204°C)

Best used in dry conditions at high temperatures
