Polypropylene (PP) Needle Felts

Using the finest fiber material on the market and state-of-the-art needling equipment, HL Filter manufactures a full range of Polypropylene (PP) needle punched filter media possessing high flow capacity and good retention properties at micron-ratings from 0.5 to 200 µm. Our PP media can be used for a wide variety of applications and are characterized by their outstanding resistance to chemicals and hydrolysis.

Bulk Roll Goods: weight, thickness, density, roll width, and roll length are customized at your request.

Available medias range from 0.5-200 µ

Surface treatments available: signed and/or glazed to reduce the possibility of migration

Polypropylene felt is used for general applications where chemical and moisture attacks other fibers

Polypropylenes offer high strength, excellent resistance to most acids and alkalis

Smoothness of fibers allows good cake release and resistance to blinding. Moisture absorption is virtually non-existent

Excellent resistance to both mineral and organic acids and alkalis with the exception of sodium and potassium hydroxide above 110degrees

Fair resistance to most oxidizing agents

Excellent resistance to most organic solvents with the exception of ketones, esters, and chlorinated hydrocarbons

Continuous operating temperature 194^oF (90°C)
